"In landscape painting, the mountains and ridges are usually painted with short brush strokes to create texture and volume. The water in rivers is portrayed in hanging scroll in diagrammatic way, conveying the sense of direction and movement. In my landscape painting, I do not wish the viewer to choose a single viewpoint. I wish the viewer can enter it from any point and then travel in it, live in it, in a leisurely way."
